Advocate Health in High Point, North Carolina seeks a Diagnostic Echocardiography Sonographer to perform routine and emergent echocardiograms, record high‑quality images, and support cardiovascular care across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology, AMA approved ultrasound course, or CMA accredited program in Diagnostic ultrasound (2-year program).
• One year experience with patients preferred.
• RDMS/RDCS or RCS credentialing through ARDMS/CCI preferred; must be registered in cardiology specialties within two years of hire.
• Current BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and emergency echocardiograms (2D/3D, Doppler, transesophageal, stress) as directed by physician.
• Records quality information during imaging and ensures adherence to protocols.
• Explains procedures and potential side effects to patients and families.
• Provides echocardiography services across locations, including weekends and on-call as scheduled.
• Operates equipment and maintains it in working order; performs routine maintenance.
