Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC seeks a pediatric echocardiography technologist to perform echocardiograms in inpatients and outpatients, using multiple systems while tailoring exams to each patient’s diagnosis, age, and size.

You will review records, communicate results to families and physicians, maintain equipment, and ensure accurate billing and documentation. ARDMS/CCI credentials desired with pediatric registry within 12 months.

Qualifications

• Advanced training beyond High School that includes the completion of an accredited or approved program in Sonography.
• Must obtain pediatric registry within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform pediatric echocardiograms in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Differentiate artifacts from true images and tailor exams to clinical questions.
• Review medical records and communicate results to physicians.
