Job summary

Banner Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, WY is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Progressive Care Unit. This full-time, day-shift role involves direct patient care on a fast-paced unit with a focus on cardiovascular monitoring and recovery.

You will assess, plan, implement and document nursing care, collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, and support patients and families through discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current RN license in state of practice and BLS certification.
• Experience in acute care is desirable.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychosocial, and discharge planning needs.
• Formulate and revise plans of care with patient/family input.
• Implement and coordinate nursing care per physician orders and policies.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Document assessments, plans, and patient responses accurately.
• Participate in education, mentorship, and quality initiatives.
