Banner Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, WY is looking for a Certified Patient Care Assistant to join the Clinical Care Operations team. This is a Full-Time Day shift (3 12-hour shifts, 6:00am–6:30pm).

You will sit 1:1 with patients, assist nursing staff with ADLs, and monitor patients using EKGs and glucose checks. The role requires a CNA in practice, BLS certification, and strong organizational/communication skills.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Current CNA in state of practice is required for new hires.
• Typically 1 year of medical clerical or hospital/clinic experience.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology; computer literacy and keyboarding.
• ECG interpretation training is preferred or on-the-job training available.

Aufgaben

• Assist with activities of daily living to promote patient comfort.
• Collect vital signs and samples; document data in medical records.
• Report abnormalities to licensed professionals and maintain continuity of care.
• Assist with procedures and use equipment under supervision.
• Perform receptionist/clerical duties to support department operations.
• Maintain patient records, charts, and education materials.
• Manage supplies and assist with ordering; track equipment.
• Transport patients and assist with OR turnover as assigned.
• Work under supervision in a fast-paced environment with strong customer service.
