Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice. BLS certification required.
• Experience in preop/postanesthesia recovery is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prep patients for surgery, perform assessments and start IVs as needed.
• Administer preop meds and assist with nerve blocks per protocol.
• Care for patients in PACU phases 1 and 2 after anesthesia.
• Document nursing care and communicate with the care team.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to achieve patient outcomes.
