Job summary

The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and support discharge planning while maintaining clinical excellence and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice and BLS certification.
• Clinical area experience in an acute care hospital is desired.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; professional certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care per policy and professional standards.
• Coordinate and provide direct patient care with the healthcare team.
• Communicate with physicians, patients and families to support outcomes and discharge planning.
• Provide supervision and mentorship to junior staff when appropriate.
• Contribute to evidence-based practice and unit quality initiatives.
