Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Current CNA in state of practice is required for new hires and transfers.
• Excellent organizational skills and communication skills.
• Experience in hospital or medical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Take vital signs and collect specimens; document data in medical records.
• Report changes in patient condition to a licensed professional.
• Perform delegated procedures (e.g., blood draws, EKGs) and support staff.
• Provide unit clerical support and maintain patient records and charting.
• Transport patients and assist with OR turnover when needed.
