Sentara Princess Anne Hospital in Virginia Beach is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Cardiac/Medicine Unit 4D. This part-time night shift (7pm–7am) role involves caring for cardiac and medicine patients with a patient ratio of 8–12 to 1, under the supervision of a registered nurse.

The ideal candidate holds one of several qualifying certifications or is enrolled in a clinical program, with BLS due within 90 days of hire. A compassionate team player is encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Must have one of the listed certifications or completed clinical program.
• BLS Certification required within 90 days of hire.
• PCT experience or CNA/NCMA/NCPCT preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of a nurse.
• Support admissions and discharge processes.
• Observe patient conditions and report changes promptly.
• Ensure patient safety practices are followed.
