Job summary

Sentara Princess Anne Hospital in Virginia Beach, VA seeks a Patient Care Technician for Medicine Unit 6 on the night shift. You will assist with patient care under the supervision of a nurse, and help with admissions and discharges while prioritizing safety and quality care.

The role requires a High School Diploma, and BLS within 90 days; CNA/NCMA/NCPCT or related credentials are eligible. One year of healthcare experience is preferred and a competitive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum requirements include CNA, NCMA, NCPCT, or equivalent listed credentials; current RN/LPN/RT/PT student may qualify.
• One year of healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under supervision of a professional nurse.
• Support admissions and discharge processes and follow safety practices.
