Endeavor Health in Glenview, IL seeks a Patient Care Technician to assist with patient care tasks under RN/LPN supervision. You will support ADLs, vital signs, and safe patient handling to promote comfort and safety across age groups.

The role offers an evening, part-time schedule with rotating weekends, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for clinical growth within a Magnet-recognized system.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited CNA training course preferred.
• Completion of at least one nursing clinical rotation in medical or surgical nursing preferred.
• Current BLS certification for the Healthcare Provider required.

Responsabilités

• Interact with patients and visitors, answering patient call lights, answering phones, assisting visitors within the facility. Performs hourly rounding on all assigned patients.
• Assist in ambulation and repositioning using Safe Patient Handling equipment.
• Provide basic nursing care including bathing, grooming, oral care, eating, feeding, and ADLs under RN/LPN supervision.
• Assist with admissions, discharges and transfers, room setup and orientation, and patient/family orientation to hospital practices.
• Document patient care activities and notify appropriate personnel; explain and perform procedures under nurse direction; maintain safety and skin integrity.
