Job summary

Mercy is seeking an RN Supervisor for the Cardiac ICU to oversee clinical operations and patient care on a FT days schedule. The role provides clinical leadership, supports staff, and ensures Mercy Service Standards are upheld.

Education requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program with an RN license in the hiring state (or compact licensure). BLS certification is required or obtained within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program.
• RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• BLS certification or completion within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum 2 years of patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care.
• Serve as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
• Perform duties as staff nurse in the department as needed.
• Assume managerial duties delegated by a manager.
