Job summary

Mercy is seeking an RN Supervisor for the Cardiac ICU to oversee clinical operations, coordinate patient care, and support staff across day shifts. This role includes acting as a clinical resource and stepping in as staff nurse when needed, with managerial duties delegated by a supervisor.

Qualified candidates will have a nursing degree, an active RN license in Missouri (or compact licensure), BLS certification, and at least 2 years of patient care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program.
• Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• BLS certification or successful completion within 30 days of hire.
• 2 years' experience in patient care.
• Supervisor experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care.
• Serve as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
• Functions as staff nurse in the department as needed.
• Assumes managerial duties delegated by a manager.

Education

Graduate from an accredited Nursing program.

Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred).
