Job summary

Mercy is seeking an RN Supervisor for the Cardiac ICU on the day shift, a full-time role in Missouri. The position supports planning, coordination, and evaluation of patient care in designated areas and serves as a clinical resource for staff and patients.

The incumbent may function as staff nurse as needed and may assume managerial duties delegated by a manager. Education required includes graduation from an accredited nursing program; current RN licensure in the hiring state or compact license

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program.
• Maintain current RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• BLS certification or successful completion within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum of 2 years of patient care experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred; supervisor experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care in designated areas.
• Serve as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
• Perform duties as staff nurse in the department as needed.
• Assume managerial duties delegated by a manager.
