Job summary

Mercy is hiring an RN Supervisor for the Cardiac ICU on a full-time day shift in Missouri. The role oversees planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of patient care within designated areas and serves as a clinical resource for staff and patients.

The incumbent may function as staff nurse when required and assumes manager- delegated duties. Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, an active RN license (state or compact), and BLS certification (within 30

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program.
• RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure (maintain current).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or complete within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assists in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care.
• Serves as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
• Functions as a staff nurse in the department as needed.
• Assumes managerial duties delegated by a manager.

Education

Graduate from an accredited Nursing program

Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred)
