Job summary

Mercy is seeking an RN Supervisor for the Cardiac ICU, working full-time days. The role assists in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care in designated areas and serves as a clinical resource for staff and patients.

You will perform staff nurse duties as needed and may assume managerial tasks delegated by a manager, upholding Mercy’s mission, values and service standards. Expect collaboration with a caring, multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program.
• RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• 2 years' experience in patient care required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care for designated areas.
• Serve as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
• Functions as a staff nurse in the department as needed and assumes managerial duties delegated by a manager.
