Job summary

Summa Health is seeking a Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join the Heart & Vascular Institute in Akron, Ohio. The incoming physician will join an experienced team providing advanced electrophysiology services, with opportunities in complex ablations, device implants, lead extractions, and LAA occlusion devices.

The program emphasizes collaborative care within an integrated health system and offers a supportive environment with a strong referral network.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/eligible in Cardiology and EP.
• Completion of Cardiac Electrophysiology fellowship.
• Unrestricted Ohio Licensure or willingness to obtain.
• Lead extraction experience preferred, not required.
• Commitment to quality patient-centered, team-based care.

Responsibilities

• Join EP team of 4 EP physicians and 3 advanced practice providers.
• Perform high-volume ablations and device implants (CRM) as part of EP program.
• Use Epic EMR in a comprehensive cardiovascular practice.
