Job summary

Summa Health is seeking a Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join our Heart & Vascular Institute in Akron, Ohio. You will join a collaborative EP program with a strong referral network and advanced procedural capabilities, delivering innovative, patient-centered cardiovascular care.

The role includes high-volume ablations, CRM device implants, lead extractions, LAA occlusion devices, and EP consults with cardiology fellows in a busy office practice.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiology and Electrophysiology.
• Completion of Cardiac Electrophysiology fellowship training.
• Unrestricted Ohio Licensure or ability to obtain.
• Experience with lead extractions preferred.
• Commitment to patient-centered, team-based care.

Responsibilities

• Approximately 3.5 days in the EP lab and 1.5 days outpatient clinic per week.
• Inpatient EP consult service about 1 week every 5 weeks.
• Shared weekend and holiday call with strong physician support.
• Cardiology fellows assist with consults and inpatient coverage.
