Job summary

Summa Health seeks a Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join the Heart & Vascular Institute in Akron, Ohio. The incoming physician will join an experienced EP team delivering innovative, patient-centered cardiovascular care in an integrated health system.

The role includes high-volume ablations, CRM device implants, and lead extractions, with opportunities for leadership and NEOMED faculty appointment while collaborating with cardiology fellows and advanced practice providers.

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Eligible in Cardiology and Electrophysiology.
• Completion of Cardiac Electrophysiology fellowship training.
• Unrestricted Ohio Licensure or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Work in a high-volume EP lab with complex ablations and device therapies.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient EP consult services.
• Collaborate with cardiology fellows, APPs, and legacy teams in a team-based care model.
• Participate in ongoing quality initiatives and teaching within a leading Heart & Vascular Institute.
