Job summary

Summa Health in Akron, Ohio seeks a Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join the Heart & Vascular Institute as part of an integrated cardiovascular team. You will work with 4 EP physicians and 3 APPs delivering complex ablations, CRM device implants, and lead extractions within a collaborative program.

The role offers clinical volume, institutional support, potential academic appointment, and a comprehensive benefits package in an employed position.

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiology and Electrophysiology.
• Completion of Cardiac Electrophysiology fellowship training.
• Unrestricted Ohio Licensure or willingness to obtain.
• Experience with lead extractions is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Split time between Electrophysiology lab (~3.5 days) and outpatient clinic (~1.5 days) per week.
• Inpatient EP consult service approximately 1 week every 5 weeks.
• Shared weekend and holiday call with strong physician support.
• Cardiology fellows assist with consults and inpatient coverage.
