Job summary

Summa Health's Heart and Vascular Institute in Akron, Ohio seeks a Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join a collaborative EP program with a strong referral network and advanced procedural capabilities.

The incoming physician will work with an experienced team, perform high-volume ablations, device therapy, lead extractions, and EP consults, with potential medical directorship and NEOMED faculty appointment; employed with comprehensive benefits and salary guarantee.

Qualifications

• Board certification/eligibility in Cardiology and Electrophysiology.
• Completion of Cardiac Electrophysiology fellowship training.
• Unrestricted Ohio Licensure or willingness to obtain.
• Experience with lead extractions is preferred.
• Commitment to quality care in a patient-centered, team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Join a collaborative EP program with high-volume ablations and device therapy.
• Perform complex electrophysiology procedures and lead extractions.
• Provide EP consultations and inpatient coverage as part of a team.
• Collaborate with cardiology fellows and advanced practice providers.
