Job summary

Summa Health is seeking a Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join our Heart & Vascular Institute in Akron, Ohio. The incoming physician will join an experienced EP team and contribute to a collaborative program with advanced procedural capabilities.

The role involves high-volume complex ablations, CRM device implants, and a busy office practice, with opportunities for faculty appointment at NEOMED and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Eligible in Cardiology and Electrophysiology.
• Completion of Cardiac Electrophysiology fellowship training.
• Unrestricted Ohio Licensure or willingness to obtain licensure.

Responsibilities

• Approximately 3.5 EP lab days per week and 1.5 days outpatient clinic per week.
• Inpatient EP consult service approximately 1 week every 5 weeks.
• Share weekend and holiday call with strong physician support.
• Collaborate with cardiology fellows for consults and inpatient coverage.
• Employed position with comprehensive benefits and salary guarantee.
• Faculty appointment possibility at NEOMED.
• Operate within Epic EMR system.
