Job summary

ChristianaCare is seeking a Diagnostic Echocardiographer to perform 2D, M-Mode, CW, PW, and Color Flow Doppler studies and stress echo exams. The role includes IV starts for dobutamine stress testing and presenting results to physicians.

The position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus, requires ARDMS/RCVT eligibility or registry, CPR certification, and implies rotation among Cardiac Diagnostic Centers with no weekends or holidays.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree preferred and ARDMS/RDCS or CCI/RCVT eligibility required or soon to graduate.
• CPR certification required.
• IV contrast experience required.
• Experience with stress echo, dobutamine stress echo and adult echo preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs 2D, M-Mode, CW, PW, and Color Flow Doppler echocardiograms.
• Performs stress echocardiograms.
• Performs IV starts for Dobutamine stress testing.
• Recognizes normal and abnormal echocardiograms and presents completed studies to physicians.
• Instructs students in clinical procedures and uses Ascend reporting.
• Maintains required CPR and inservice education credentials.
