Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an echocardiography professional to provide high-quality cardiac ultrasound imaging for adult patients and support stress testing protocols. The role requires ARDMS/CCI registration within a year, BLS within 30 days, and a sonography-related education.

New grads are welcome. The position involves performing 2D studies, Doppler, M-Mode, and contrast echocardiography, with opportunities for mobile echo support and regional collaboration.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI registration within 1 year.
• BLS certification within 30 days - American Heart Association.
• Sonography or Related field education.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality two-dimensional ultrasound studies of the heart and great vessels.
• Identify EKG abnormalities and arrhythmias.
• Use age-appropriate techniques and patient positioning to obtain optimal cardiac images.
• Apply M-Mode, Doppler and contrast echocardiography as needed to assess function and structures.
• Document and communicate findings to cardiology and maintain QA/QC practices.
• Support mobile echo/vascular services regionally and participate in callback rotations.
