Job summary

Carle Health seeks a qualified cardiac ultrasound technologist to provide high-quality echocardiography services for adult patients. The role requires ARDMS or CCI registration within 1 year and BLS within 30 days, with education in sonography or related field.

Relocation and sign-on bonuses are available for eligible candidates, including for experienced hires beyond 50 miles. The position includes mobile echo coverage and collaboration with cardiology colleagues.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI registration within 1 year.
• BLS within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA).
• Education: Sonography or Related field.

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality two-dimensional ultrasound studies of the heart and great vessels.
• Identifies ECG abnormalities and/or arrhythmia.
• Operates transducer and optimizes imaging for best visualization of cardiac structures.
• Assesses cardiac function using M-Mode and Doppler techniques.
• Evaluates left and right ventricular systolic and diastolic function.
