Job summary

Carle Health in Fort Myers, FL is seeking an ultrasound technologist specializing in cardiac imaging. You will perform high-quality two-dimensional echocardiograms, stress imaging, and related Doppler studies, supporting pediatric and adult patients as needed.

Required ARDMS or CCI registration within 1 year and BLS within 30 days; education in sonography or related field; new grads welcome. Sign-on and relocation bonuses are available to qualified applicants.

Qualifications

ARDMS or CCI registration within 1 year
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA)

Responsibilities

Performs high quality two-dimensional ultrasound studies of the heart and great vessels
Identifies EKG abnormalities and/or arrhythmia
Uses age-appropriate techniques for patient care
Operates ultrasound equipment and optimizes image quality
Communicates results to the cardiologist and documents findings
Participates in mobile echo/vascular service regionally
Assists in stress echocardiography procedures
