Job summary

Location is Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, Colorado. Responsibilities include coordinating exams, educating patients, and documenting results while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution preferred.

Responsibilities

• Competency demonstrated for department protocols.
• Prioritize and schedule exams; coordinate with staff, physicians, and patients.
• Prepare for exams, educate patient and family, and transport patient.
• Perform ultrasound exams per protocols in a timely manner.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort; maintain quality outcomes.
• Document exam results and apply charge codes; maintain equipment and supplies.
