Intermountain Health is seeking an Echo Tech to perform diagnostic cardiac/vascular exams under physician direction. Open to recent graduates or those new to the field. Part-time with 30 hours, 10-hour days and on-call shifts at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, Colorado.

Responsibilities include coordinating exams, educating patients, maintaining safety, and mentoring others in equipment use. ARDMS/CCI and BLS required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifikationen

• ARDMS/CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography is required.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers is required.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred and will be verified.

Aufgaben

• Demonstrate technical competency for department protocols.
• Prioritize and schedule exams and coordinate with staff.
• Prepare patients and educate on procedures and safety.
• Perform ultrasound exams per protocols in a timely manner.
• Document results and apply charge codes.
• Mentor caregivers and students on equipment and techniques.
• Maintain equipment and stock supplies.
• Support quality improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with physicians and caregivers during exams.
