Qualifikationen

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred from an accredited institution.

Aufgaben

• Demonstrate technical competency for department protocols and exams.
• Prioritize and schedule echocardiography exams.
• Coordinate exams with medical staff, physicians, and patients.
• Educate patients and families on procedures and prepare for exams.
• Perform ultrasound exams per protocols and ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort with quality outcomes.
• Document results and apply proper charge codes.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and work area.
