Intermountain Health is seeking an Echo Tech for part-time work at Good Samaritan Hospital. The role focuses on diagnostic echocardiography, supporting clinicians, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. The role requires ARDMS/CCI certification and BLS, with a 30-hour workweek and on-call shifts. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualificações

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrate technical competence for department protocols.
• Prioritize and schedule exams and coordinate with medical staff and patients.
• Prepare for exams by identifying patients, educating them, and transporting.
• Perform ultrasound exams consistent with protocols and timely.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort and achieve quality outcomes.
• Communicate patient needs and coordinate care with physicians and caregivers.
• Document exam results and required information, apply charge codes.
• Maintain equipment, work area, and supplies; coordinate repairs or supply needs.
• Participate in quality improvement processes and educational opportunities.
• Provide education for caregivers, fellows, and students as appropriate.
