Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Echo Tech for part-time coverage at Good Samaritan Hospital. The role involves performing diagnostic echocardiography under physician direction, mentoring students, and ensuring high-quality patient care.

Ideal for recent graduates or those new to the field with relevant ARDMS/CCI certification and BLS. Position details include 30 hours per week with 10-hour shifts and on-call elements.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution is preferred and will be verified.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound exams in accordance with department protocols.
• Prioritize and schedule exams and coordinate with staff and patients.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort and quality outcomes throughout exams.
• Document exam results and applicable information accurately.
• Mentor caregivers and students on equipment use and technique.
• Follow procedures for charging exams and supplies.
