Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Echo Tech to perform diagnostic cardiac/vascular ultrasound exams under physician supervision at Good Samaritan Hospital. Ideal for recent graduates or entrants, with part-time schedule (30 hours, 3/10 shifts) and on-call duties.

You will schedule exams, educate patients, document results, and support quality improvement. ARDMS/CCI certification and BLS required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate technical competence for department protocols.
• Prioritize and schedule echocardiography exams.
• Coordinate exams with medical staff and patients.
• Educate patients and families on procedures.
• Perform ultrasound exams and ensure patient safety.
• Document results and maintain equipment and supplies.
