Intermountain Health is seeking an Echo Technician to perform diagnostic cardiac and vascular ultrasound exams under physician supervision. The role is ideal for recent echocardiography program graduates or those new to the field, with emphasis on patient safety and quality outcomes.

The position is part-time (30 hours) with 10-hour shifts (3/10’s) and on-call duties at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, Colorado. Prioritize exams, coordinate with staff, and mentor trainees as needed.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred from an accredited institution.

Responsabilités

• Perform ultrasound examinations with protocols for the department.
• Prioritize and schedule exams and coordinate with medical staff.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and quality outcomes during exams.
• Document results and apply appropriate charge codes.
• Mentor caregivers and students in equipment use and technique.
