Intermountain Health is seeking an Echo Tech to perform diagnostic cardiac/vascular ultrasound exams under physician supervision, focusing on quality and patient safety. The role targets recent graduates or those new to the field, with on-site shifts at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, Colorado.

This part-time position offers on-call shifts, opportunities for professional growth, and collaboration within a clinical team.

Qualificações

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution (preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrate technical competence for department protocols.
• Prioritize and schedule exams.
• Coordinate exams with medical staff, physician offices, other caregivers and patients.
• Prepare for exams by educating patient and family and transporting patient.
• Perform ultrasound exams consistent with related protocols and in a timely manner.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort and achieve quality outcomes.
• Identify patient needs and coordinate patient care with physicians and caregivers.
• Document exam results and other needed information.
• Apply appropriate charge codes for exams and supplies.
• Clean and maintain equipment and work area.
• Support repair or supply needs as required.
• Participate in quality improvement processes and initiatives.
• Pursue educational opportunities to develop additional skills and knowledge.
• Provide education for caregivers, fellows, and students as appropriate.
