Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer Registered for the Fairfield Hospital. You will perform diagnostic echocardiography including transthoracic and transesophageal studies, and stress testing to evaluate cardiac function.

Recent credentialed echocardiography (RDCS or RCS) is required or expected, with BLS and at least one year of experience preferred. On-site duties include patient prep, documentation in EPIC EHR, and collaborating with care teams.

Qualifications

• Assc degree in applied health science with cardiac focus preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Credentialed in echocardiography: RDCS or RCS.
• Minimum 1 year experience preferred.
• EPIC EHR and PACS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic echocardiography using ultrasound to evaluate the heart (TTE, TEE, stress testing).
• Conduct non-invasive and invasive cardiac exams as trained.
• Prepare and monitor patients before and during procedures.
• Review patient data in EMR and document findings.
• On-call hours required.
