Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer Registered to support The Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. The role requires performing diagnostic echocardiography exams, including TTE, TOE, and stress testing, with on-call responsibilities.

Applicants should have an associate degree in a cardiovascular field and hold or be eligible for RDCS/ RCS credentials, plus BLS certification. EPIC EHR and PACS experience are preferred assets for daily operations.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required
• Credentialed in echocardiography (RDCS or RCS) required or preferred
• Associates degree in relevant field preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic echocardiography examinations (TTE/TOE) and stress testing.
• Proficient in non-invasive and invasive cardiac exams.
• Demonstrate knowledge of cardiac anatomy and interpretation of results.
• Prepare and monitor patients before and during procedures.
• Utilize the EMR to review patient information and document findings.
• On-call hours required
