Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer Registered at The Jewish Hospital. The role involves performing echocardiography including transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress testing to evaluate cardiac function.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, documenting results in the EMR, and supporting on-call coverage. BLS certification and RDCS or RCS credentialing are required, with EPIC/EHR and PACS experience preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS – American Heart Association required.
• Epics EHR and PACS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic echocardiography examinations to evaluate the heart.
• Demonstrates ability to perform non-invasive and invasive cardiac exams.
• Prepare and monitor patients before and during procedures.
• Utilize EMR to review patient information and document findings.
• On-call hours required.

Education

Associates degree in an applied health science field with a concentration in cardiovascular technology, ultrasonography or related study
