Job summary

Mercy Health seeks a Registered Cardiac Sonographer to join the Echocardiology team at Fairfield Hospital. The role performs diagnostic echocardiography exams, including TTE, TEE, and stress testing, to assess cardiac function in patients.

The position requires an associate degree in a cardiovascular-related field, BLS, and RDCS or RCS credentials, with EPIC/EHR and PACS experience preferred. On-call duties are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in cardiovascular technology or related field preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Credentialed in echocardiography: RDCS or RCS required/preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic echocardiography examinations (TTE, TEE, stress echo) to evaluate the heart.
• Demonstrate ability to perform non-invasive and invasive cardiac exams.
• Prepare and monitor patients before and during procedures; document findings in the EMR.
• On-call hours required.
