Job summary

Mercy Health’s The Jewish Hospital is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer to perform diagnostic cardiac exams using ultrasound equipment, including TTE, TEE, and stress tests. You will support patient prep and documentation in the EMR, with on-call hours required.

Required is an associate degree in a health science field with a cardiovascular focus, BLS, and credentialing in echo (RDCS or RCS). Prior EPIC EHR and PACS experience is preferred to ensure seamless workflow.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in an applied health science field with a cardiovascular focus.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association is required.
• Credentialed in echocardiography: RDCS or RCS from ARDMS/CCI.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic echocardiography exams: TTE, TEE, and stress testing.
• Demonstrates ability to perform non-invasive and invasive cardiac exams.
• Prepare and monitor patients before and during procedures.
• Utilizes EMR to review patient info and document findings.
• On-call hours required.
