Job Summary

Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist in HCA Florida West Hospital. Provide advanced care during lifesaving cardiac procedures, support physicians, patients, and families with education and reassurance. Operate and maintain state‑of‑the‑art cath lab equipment, monitor patient responses, and safeguard a sterile environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, such as angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements.
• Prepare and support patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures.
• Operate and maintain advanced cath lab equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment.
• Monitor patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care.
• Safeguard a sterile and safe environment while serving as an advocate for every patient.

Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Certification / education: ARRT‑R Radiography, RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer, RCIS Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, Associate Degree, or Certificate.
