Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED must be completed within 90 days of employment.

Job description

Job Summary: The Cardiac Cath Lab Technician at HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital delivers advanced care during lifesaving cardiac procedures and supports physicians and patients throughout the procedure.

Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements.
  • Prepare and support patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures.
  • Operate and maintain advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment.
  • Monitor patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care.
  • Safeguard a sterile, safe environment while serving as an advocate for every patient.
Qualifications
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • High School Graduate or GED within 90 days of employment start date.
  • (ARRT‑R) Radiography or (RCIS) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist.
