Job summary

HCA Florida Citrus Hospital in Inverness, FL is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join a team delivering advanced care during lifesaving cardiac procedures.

You will assist physicians, prepare and support patients, operate and maintain equipment, and monitor responses to ensure the highest quality of care. This role emphasizes patient education, safety, and teamwork within a modern cath lab environment.

Qualifications

  • ACLS within 30 days of employment start date.
  • BLS within 30 days of employment start date.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • (ARRT‑R) Radiography, IR or (RCIS) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credential.
  • If not currently registered as RCIS, must obtain certification within 2 years of employment start date.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements
  • Preparing and supporting patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures
  • Operating and maintaining advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment
  • Monitoring patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care
  • Safeguarding a sterile, safe environment while serving as an advocate for every patient
