Job summary

HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital is seeking a Cardiovascular Technician - Cath Lab to join our team. You will assist physicians during lifesaving cardiac procedures, prepare patients and families, and operate advanced cath lab equipment to ensure safe, effective treatment.

You will monitor patient responses and uphold sterile conditions, contributing to high-quality care in a fast-paced environment with a strong team by your side.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ACLS within 6 months of start date.
• BCLS within 30 days of start date.
• Paramedic, Rad Tech (ARRT), Respiratory Tech, Surgical Tech, ARRT or RCIS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures (angiograms, angioplasties, stent placements).
• Prepare and support patients and families before, during, and after procedures.
• Operate and maintain advanced cath lab equipment for safe treatment.
• Monitor patient responses with vigilance to ensure high-quality care.
• Maintain a sterile, safe environment and advocate for each patient.

• Preparing and supporting patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures
• Operating and maintaining advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment
• Monitoring patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care
• Safeguarding a sterile, safe environment while serving as an advocate for every patient

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• High School Graduate / GED
• Paramedic, Rad Tech (ARRT), Respiratory Tech, Surgical Tech, ARRT or RCIS
