Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a Registered Nurse II for the Cardiac Catheterization Lab in Charleston, SC. The RN CVP II will competently perform sedating, monitoring, scrubbing, and circulating duties during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures and EP procedures, with exposure to a range of acute cardiac care interventions.

The role requires a Bachelor of Nursing degree (BSN preferred) and at least one year of RN experience; current SC nursing licensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred or in BSN program if hired with Associate/Diploma RN.
• Minimum of one year of RN work experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, goal-directed patient care using the nursing process under general supervision.
• Deliver safe and effective care and collaborate with the health care team to achieve desired outcomes.
• Perform sedating, monitoring, scrubbing, and circulating duties during Diagnostic/Interventional Cardiac Procedures and EP procedures.
