Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Cath Lab Nurse responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. You will support interventional procedures, monitor acutely ill patients, and collaborate with the cardiology team to ensure optimal outcomes.

The role requires SC RN licensure and ICU/CCU or Telemetry experience with cardiac catheterization procedures, plus BLS/ACLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and SC RN license.
• Experience in ICU/CCU or Telemetry with interventional procedures is preferred.
• ACLS and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients before, during, and after procedures in the CCL.
• Monitor vitals and interpret EKG rhythms during interventions.
• Coordinate with interventional team to promote patient safety.
• Perform scrubbing and hemodynamic monitoring as assigned.
• Develop and maintain nursing care plans for CCL patients.
