Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Pediatric Cardiac Cath and EP Lab seeks a Pediatric Interventional Cardiovascular Technologist II to support cardiac catheterization, EP studies and interventional radiology procedures for patients from neonate to adult congenital. Strong anatomy knowledge and initiative are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology or CVT program.
• Experience in interventional radiography or cath lab preferred.
• ARRT, CVIS, CRT or CVT certification is required or expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform and assist complex cardiovascular interventional procedures in the pediatric cath lab.
• Operate radiographic equipment and ensure patient safety during heart catheterization, EP studies and ablations.
• Maintain strong knowledge of normal and abnormal cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
