Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to assist a Cardiologist in diagnostic and interventional procedures. The role requires performing quality control, verifying orders with the cardiologist, and ensuring accurate history and lab results for contraindications.

The ideal candidate will hold an MRT license in Texas, ARRT, and a current BCLS/ACLS certification, with CCSI RCIS/RCES credentials preferred. Weekend/holiday/evening/on-call work is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Licensed as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) in Texas.
• Current ARRT licensure; CC I certification required for non-radiologic techs.
• Active CCI credential (RCIS or RCES) preferred.
• Current Interventional Angiography certification preferred.
• BCLS and ACLS certifications current per unit needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist Cardiologist in diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Perform quality control procedures per manufacturer requirements.
• Evaluate orders with the cardiologist and ensure proper lab results/history for contraindications.
• Interact with hospital staff regarding patient care and conflicts; assist in resolutions.
• Maintain clinical performance skills and compliance with policies.
• Routinely work weekends, holidays, evenings, nights, and on-call as needed.
