Job summary

Carle Health Radiology team seeks a Technologist to assist cardiologists in cath lab procedures, including invasive coronary/vascular/EP diagnostics and interventions. You will set up imaging and monitoring equipment, perform sterile prep, and support sedation and patient safety throughout complex procedures.

Requirements include BLS, ACLS within 1 year, ARRT radiography, and a Certificate of Completion: Radiologic Technology.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) provider per AHA.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist – Radiography (ARRT).
• ACLS within 1 year – American Heart Association.
• Certificate of Completion: Radiologic Technology is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist cardiologists in invasive diagnostic/therapeutic cardiovascular procedures.
• Set up and operate imaging and electrical equipment for procedures.
• Monitor patient physiology and manage moderate sedation per policy.
• Interpret EKG and arrhythmias; assist in EP procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and prepare instruments for sterilization.
• Ensure patient safety and effective communication during procedures.
• Collaborate with research staff for lab-based studies.
