Job summary

ExxonMobil is seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to spearhead the Carbon Products initiative in the Spring, TX area. The role focuses on developing new business models, forming strategic partnerships, and leading high-stakes negotiations with global stakeholders.

The candidate will drive cross-functional alignment, manage external narratives, and build networks to capture value in the carbon value chain. A track record in innovative energy solutions is preferred.

Qualifications

B.S. degree in Business, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field.
10+ years commercial experience in the carbon value chain.
Broad market development capability with leadership experience in developing/executing in new business spaces.
Business model design experience, including technology licensing models.
Creative, unconstrained clear thinker.

Responsibilities

Develop and build the business models necessary to drive success in the Carbon-rich Products space.
Execute complex agreements from inception to conclusion and advise on complex global issues.
Design key elements of complex agreements to manage risks while maximizing value.
Lead high value/complex/multi-party negotiations with counterparties and Governments as appropriate.
Lead alignment of internal stakeholders to define corporate external positions to maximize value.
Create and execute complex external influence plans and internal narratives to support strategy implementation.
Develop key external networks and build relationships to identify value opportunities.
