Job summary

ExxonMobil is seeking a highly experienced Business Development Manager to lead the development of new bio-products opportunities in Spring, Texas. The role focuses on building business models, executing multi-party agreements, and forming strategic partnerships across the value chain.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in bio/chemical markets, strong leadership, and a track record in technology licensing and market development.

Qualifications

B.S. degree in Business, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field.
10+ years commercial experience across the bio and/or chemical industry.
Experience in the bio-technology sector.
Broad market development capability with leadership experience in developing and/or executing in new business spaces.
Business model design experience, including technology licensing models.
Creative, unconstrained clear thinker with strong persuasive ability.

Responsibilities

Develop and build the business models necessary to drive success in the space.
Execute complex agreements from inception to conclusion and advise on complex global issues.
Design key elements of complex agreements to manage risks while maximizing value.
Lead high value / complex / multi-party negotiations with counterparties and Governments as appropriate.
Lead alignment of internal stakeholders to define external positions and maximize value.
Create and execute external influence plans and internal narratives to support strategy.
Develop external networks and relationships to identify value opportunities.
