Job summary

ExxonMobil is seeking a Commercial Director for its Low Carbon Solutions team at our Houston campus. You will lead full-cycle foundational analyses for transactions, including financial analyses and presentations for senior leadership.

You will manage negotiations with international and Fortune 500 companies to close sales and purchase agreements for low-carbon ammonia, while developing strategic pricing models and market insights. This is a high-impact role at ExxonMobil.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or financial discipline.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in financial, commercial, and/or business development roles in Energy.
• Demonstrated ability to conclude definitive agreements at a Corporate level.
• Expert knowledge of long-term upstream, midstream, product and / or transportation agreements in oil & gas or a related industry.
• Deep familiarity with project investment evaluation.
• Strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Support sales and marketing efforts with external customers.
• Develop commercial offers, including SPA, MOU, etc.
• Evaluate and scope opportunities.
• Prepare materials for negotiations with customers.
• Develop marketing strategies and pricing models.
• Maintain competitive insights for market strategies and supply analysis.
• Develop Gate 3 commercial and business development deliverables.
